Neustädter Haus in Bischofsheim in der Rhoen

Ridden up on a mountain bike in August. Water bottle empty. Closed on Mondays. Okay, no problem, there is a drinks machine in front of the door. Oh, what's that: Sticker on it: "Machine defective". Very cool.

Currently closed due to Corona. But I am sure that this is a good place to stop by. In any case, the menu looks promising,

We were eating there with several people. The service was nice and the required hygiene measures were observed. However, I cannot understand the good reviews regarding the food. The things are not fresh in my opinion. It looked and tasted like frozen. That's fine, but then you should write that on the card. Portions were on the small side. Side salad suggests booking an extra € 4.50. Ambience well ...

The stay was spoiled by an absolutely unfriendly host, who obviously took out his bad mood on us and other guests. I wonder how you can be so unfriendly as a restaurateur. It's a shame because the house is really beautiful in itself. The panoramic view in particular is fantastic!

Nice hut about halfway up the Kreuzberg. The ascent from the Irenkreuz can also be easily done with a stroller, the forest on the way is very beautiful. The staff is very friendly and the prices reasonable. We liked the food. We like to go here.

If you walked there from the Katzenbuckel nice route and then had a snack, I think the hygiene regulations are good to adhere to. Beer from Streck is not my taste but the food is good then you can walk to Kreuzberg or visit the climbing park;) Just try it out.

Very nice location on the terrace with a view. Varied menu. Corona-related strict regulations for entry with table assignment. Tables are cleaned each time. Excellent handling, compliments to the team at the inn. Here you feel comfortable and safe. Thank you very much.

It used to be beautiful, but now it's a mountain hut - nothing more and nothing less. Eating is less of a priority than it used to be, the stay is slightly organized militarily.

The somewhat older hut is located below the Kreuzberg summit and offers a beautiful view of the Rhön. Unfortunately, the view does not detract from the considerable shortcomings that prevail both in the equipment of the hut itself, in the culinary area and in the service. On the one hand, friendliness and hospitality were missed on the one hand; Furthermore, wrong information was given on the menu (the onion roast was definitely not a sirloin, but at most a neck piece and still tough and dry). All other dishes use convenience products. How the sometimes very good reviews came about is inexplicable to us.

Hygiene concept is super adhered to at all times. Great food, very clean and very friendly hosts and staff. Unfortunately, some guests have to make it unnecessarily difficult for the hosts by simply being unteachable and provoking the hosts. To the team at the Neustädter Haus: Don't be upset. You make it great!

We were here twice for lunch after the "crisis" and were pleasantly surprised at how well everything is going here. You are placed after your name and TEL.No. be named and noted. The food comes quickly and is very tasty. The staff very friendly. The hygiene distance regulations are always observed - everything is tip top !!! A wonderful view from the terrace and the garden that you can enjoy while eating. Therefore 5 stars and absolute recommendation!
